Had a great time at scout camping this weekend. Pack 568 had a great time at Victoria Bryant State Park. Did all the high points required of camping:
- hiking
- leading the pack on a wild goose chase to a geocache with no cell service and a non-compliant gps unit. Thankfully M and B redeemed us by finding the tricky one!
- fishing that was unsuccessful in catching of fish but was very successful in hanging out, casting, and introducing Jayden to the fine art of casting, detangling of line and having bait stolen
- putting up a tent in the pouring rain, though the rest of the weekend had amazing weather!
- reading, and time spent in the hammocks. Definitely need to set up some tent camping in the very near future.
